Daniel Pipes is right to bring up the moral duty of the U.S. not to hand over the MEK
Daniel is right to first point out the moral duty of the U.S. to protect a group of people that have helped saved the lives of Americans, provided key intelligence, and are opponents of the mullahs.I would urge Americans to write the White House and their senators to urge the president to act with honor and compassion towards the MEK.
Politically, of course, any concessions to the Iranians is always a bad idea. And the Iraqis need to know that we did not liberate them(however awfully botched the occupation has been) them so they can provide aid and comfort to the mullahs.
