Action, not wordsReader comment on item: Will Washington Betray Anti-Regime Iranians? Submitted by Rebecca Moulds (United States), Jul 17, 2008 at 08:58 It seems that the MEK is caught between a rock and a hard place, and that Washington must make a decision soon as to the fate of this group. It would be a disaster to allow a "full-scale slaughter" to happen---surely our government has more compassion and interest than to turn a blind eye to these brave soldiers. It is interesting to note that once deemed a terrorist organization, they have now renounced terrorism and the chance must be taken that it is true. It is high time that Washington makes a stand against the Iranian regime and uses all its resources, including the MEK; to ignore their role in this current stand-off between Iran and the world would be folly indeed.
