Reader comment on item: Will Washington Betray Anti-Regime Iranians?

Surely the U.S. cannot just leave our allies to be slaughtered. They should be given a secure place to live in th West Bank or Jordan. Jordan could amalgamate them. The West Bank is desperate for democracy and leadership. If Jordan, a Palestinian state, can be led by a Hashemite, why can't the West Bank be led by the MEK?
