Democracy (and Decency) in the Middle East

I consider your statement an excellent rebuttal to your detractors' false attribution .

Let us hope that the West and the Islamic Middle East will one day reconcile.

On another note, do you want to enter the fray on the McCain & Obama postions regarding the Middle East and Islam? Who is closer to the mark in your view?
