Dear Prof Pipes,
Reviving Islamic spirits- what are they? They are:
1. On a theological level, Making Allah whose prophet is Mohammed, the sole God, effectively thereby branding gods and goddesses of other peoples as false ones.
2. On human level, Muslims are the chosen people of God ie. Allah, Jews and Christians at best second class citizens referred to as the peoples of the book and the rest are infidels/kafirs deserved to be converted/killed or enslaved as Dhimmis.
3. On the political level, Islam is a power oriented religion. In power, it imposes itself on the unwilling non-Muslim subjects. When not in power, Muslims pose as oppressed minority demanding concession after concessions from the Secular govts.
4. Within Muslim/Islamic countries, they are more oriented towards the ruler than the ruled.
5. On an intellectual level, they deny the freedom to the dissidents and minoties in Islamic countries which they automatically get as a matter of minority right in secular democracies.
6. Islam is a strange religion which provides to its male adherents sexual pleasures even after death.
7. Acts of piety under Islam are demolishing Synagogues, Churches,Temples etc and constructing Mosques there on.
8. The whole earth belongs to Allah. Muslims are His chosen people. Therefore, the earth rightfully belongs to the Muslims. The Muslims find that many parts are held by non-Muslims Allah enjoins and exhorts the Muslims to fight through the insrument called jihad to get back and enjoy.
The above should be made known to the ordinary non-Muslim Americans enabling them to make a proper assessment of Islam and Muslims. Of course, exceptions are always there.
Regards, Sincerely, S.C.Panda
