Osama has convicted himself with his own words and obviously deserves the death penalty.
So, what have we gained if Syria, Iran, North Korea and Lybia are now afraid of us due to Iraq. Will this stop O bin Laden and terrorism? I don't think so. As long as major elements of the govenments of our "friends," Saudi Arabia and Pakistan support the terrorists, our deadly enemies will thrive, and win thousands of suicidal converts to their cause in the coming months.
Some naive and stupid statements by leading Democrats does not offset the major blunders of the Bush administration in Iraq or the many lies told to the American people by President Bush and his cronies about Iraq. Bush, Rumsfeld and ChEney wants us to believe that Saddam and Osama were blood brothers and co-conspirators and worked together despite the fact that all available evidence shows clearly that this is not true.
I believe that we only weakened our war against terrrorists by going after Saddam and diverted our attention from Afghanistan and stopping Pakistan's proliferation of nuclear weapons. Not enough Americans understand that going after Saddam and Iraq caused a ressurgance of Middle East Arab hatred of America and of terrorist activity around the World and only increases the chances that the American homeland will be attacked again.
