The reason why most Greek people have hostility towards the Turkish people has not do with a shared history as stated above but has to do with over 500 years of enslavement, murder and more. ... Turks were a new people compared to the Greeks who were around for thousand of years. Turkish origins are from Mongolia. yes, they were nothing but scattered mongol tribes.
