I wish Canadians would heart-change on this issue

Canada lost a war-hero pilot, George Frederick "Buzz" Beurling, to the "Palestinian Cause"; he was murdered (his aircraft was sabotaged, so blew up while he was in it) 1948/05/20 on orders of "Palestinian" leader Haj-amin Husseini--the same one succeeded by Yasir Arafat.

(admittedly, one can say that poetic justice was achieved in a way when Arafat died 2004/11/11 of AIDS--as Québecois Air Canada flight purser Gaetan Dugas is considered to be "Patient 0")

Also, Sue--are you aware of Husseini's collaboration with Hitler throughout WW2 (there are photos of him raising "hanzar" SS regiments in Bosnia and Kosovo)? IMO, that little detail would have killed about 98% of support for "Palestinian Cause" in post-WW2 Western Europe (much of which had been under the bootheels of Nazi Germany).
