This post was brought to my attention last night. On reading what I wrote, I realized that it was ill-worded and in exposing the hypocrisy and cowardice of the Canadian Islamic Congress, my words seemed to show disrespect from Daniel Pipes.

I disagree with Mr. Pipes on many issues, but I respect his scholarship and should have used better words to express my thoughts. Over the years, I have come to realize that the Islamists pose a serious threat to the values of democracy, liberty and individual freedom as well as the right to free speech and free expression.

In this fight, I am on the side of Daniel Pipes.
