muslim american for president ?

Reader comment on item: Predicting the 2008 U.S. Presidential Election

Submitted by Phil Greend (Canada), May 11, 2008 at 18:29

It would be very weird if America voted to have a muslim as president. Obama still has not taken any positive steps to show that he is under the influence of islam.

Being raised in an islamist culture something else. There is an extreme amount of hate that is taught and there is an element of brainwashing. There is no differring view point ever allowed, so what is taught is an absolute.

Senator Obama should clearly speak out against the islamists. To disprove that he is an islamist is going to be hard. Just saying he is not an extremist won't work, if you will please recall the "prophet mohammed" said that it is perfectly acceptable to lie to non muslims.

There is a way to show that Senator Obama is not an islamist and that would be for him to speak out against the "prophet mohammed". He could make mention of the fact that mohammed was a murderer, child molester, and false prophet.

Now is not the time for America to have a muslim president. Well maybe , but only if he was open and honest about the fact he is a muslim.
