Painful to see Muravchik lose even more credibility
Reader comment on item: Responding to Joshua Muravchik about "Moderate Islamists"

Submitted by Edgar Malcolm Ervin (United States), May 4, 2008 at 17:11

I have read every word and all links and it is obvious they do not want to understand your meaning "moderate Muslim," and furthermore Muravchik has been struggling ever since you wiped him out on the first debate! It is obviously personal.

Perhaps, Daniel, he (Muravchik) could join The Middle East Forum and quit trying to keep pace with you…To put this in sports terms ‘He's out of his league" It is painful to see Him lose all credibility. Perhaps he should rethink his logic. "It's never too late to admit an error unless it's personal". When something becomes personal the most obvious meanings are always overlooked. It makes one wonder with whom besides Szrom dub Kamran Bokhar Muravchik has been peeing on the fence alongside.

As Will Rogers said: "There are three kinds of men. The one that learns by reading. The few who learn by observation. The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence for themselves."

Sincerely,

Edgar Malcolm Ervin
