The study of the Mohammad sayings is a science by itself. you take university degree to study it.

It is not as simple as you mention. it is a more comprehensive detailed study.

Mohammad did say these sayings and after his death his followers compiled them, that is in the life of many of his closed friends who survived him and many of his wives and many many of his followers.\

The study is unique by itself, it will not pass QC if not authentic.
