Submitted by Samer Sukhun (Canada), Apr 21, 2008 at 20:46 Ron Larson, Glad you mentioned this topic How many sects do the Christians have and what would be the followers of each sect (Sects are counted in hundreds) Muslims have mainly two (Sunni and Shi'i sects), the other sects are either very small with hundreds of followers or some sects that are counted on Islam in fact they are not Muslims The Sunni are 1.3 billion while the shi'at are 150 million only How many different type of christians is there in Saudi arabia. IF the proposition is to mak a church for every sect who have only few hundred in Saudi arabia, then there will be churches more than mosques in a muslim country because the christian secs are counted in hundereds while the Muslims have only two main sects.
