Muslim vis-a-vis Christian

Gloria,

You say "non Muslims were not allowed public religious ceremonies, or church bells," This is exactly what the west is imposing on Muslims, not because of Muslims acts, but because they are not Christians.

"They could not strike a Muslim even in self defense" This is false because during history muslim leaders gave justice to Christians even against Muslims when justified.

"They had to pray quietly so as not to disturb Muslims." Similarly the Muslims are asked to pray quietly in western society so as not to disturb the neighbors.

There are incidents when a non Muslim had to hit a muslim in self defence and he was justified - the example of Ibn khorshieh against Talha bin Ziad during Khalife Omar times.

The Crusaders since the 8th and 9th century killed hundreds of thousands and destroyed 1000s of Mosques

If you want to talk History we are good too , and we know what the Christians did.

You should not talk a bout what the people do, you should learn what Islam teaches. we should not seek hate we should promote compromise and understanding.

As much as there are good Muslims there are good Christians and as there are Bad Muslims there are too Bad Christians.

IT is obvious from its name (Islam) it is a peaceful religion, we are told "fight those who fight you" not fight for the sake of fighting - this means self defense.

I hope God will enlighten your heart and show you the right path

God in the Quran says " You will find those who are nearest in love to the believers those who say we are Christians because among them are priests and monks and they are not proud"
