Excellent examples, Rochelle. It is this sort of information we need to make more widely known in the West. The incredible abundance of similar examples is belied by the blind ignorance of the masses to this side of the story here. I'm not sure if you intend to reinforce my contentions or to dissent from my suggestion.
Either way, I'll reiterate that one of the main reasons I give for the crazy-sounding suggestion of harboring Palestinian children alongside those of the Jews is to bring these very facts to the forefront in the West. A side benefit would be the opportunity to have an influence on some child of the regime from Hamas/Fatah Hell.
If one such child can be turned from a life of genocidal hatred infused with ambitions of martyrdom the world is thereby done a great favor. I make no pretensions that the Jews are not already living compassionately and sacrificially, and without thanks or recognition. It is my hope that a dramatic act like this would help make that compassion less easy to ignore.
