Against nikab??

Reader comment on item: Burqas and Niqabs in the Classroom?
in response to reader comment: Niqab

If Nikab is only cultural forced upon by fathers and husbands then why are so many WHITE British converts to Islam taking up the practice to wear nikab?? I am one of them! No one forced me to wear nikab I looked into it and decided I wanted to wear it! I am certainly educated about my religion in fact it is Muslims who are far from educated about their beliefs that they think Nikab is cultural.

To everyone else who has a problem with Nikab your lives must be so sad and boring that you constantly have to worry about what others are wearing! What is it with you people that you need to get so involved in other people's lives! Why should anyone stop wearing what they want to wear just because it is not the norm?? It's not a security issue at all, the men who who blew themselves up were not wearing nikab they were wearing clothes and they were still able to conceal their weapons!

How many boys and girls go around the streets carrying knives and guns in their tracksuit bottoms?? So If it's about security then you should be banning all clothes! Because all clothes can conceal some type of weapon!

It's just another excuse to make life more difficult for Muslims especially the women! You claim that Muslim men oppress women well they dont you do! You are the ones who are trying to stop us from doing something we want to do. Focus on your own lives not others!
