Daniel Pipes poses the question: "Do Westerners have the will to resist it?" By "it" he is referring to Shari'a bombarding the West.
The real question should be: Do Westerners really care? If a society is absorbed with its own problems, i.e. the failing economy, soaring fuel prices, and also becoming more insular, hiding behind iPOD's and generally more selfish, then there must be a push to make people aware of the threat of Islamism and its agenda of insinuating the Shari'a into their way of life.
This has to be done at every level, and besides gaining the public interest, more emphasis should be put on the negative aspects of accepting Shari'a and the consequences if applied. It will be to the peril of the Western world if these warnings are ignored.
