Reader comment on item: The case for 'Iraqification'

Submitted by Joe Bentzel (United States), Nov 19, 2003 at 11:40

Loved this essay. It goes to the heart of the issue in today's world. It also provides a reality-based model for dealing with the rest of the rogue states who are providing 'swamp' space for Islamic terrorism. The 'strongman' model maps to the truth that Islam is more of a toxic cult enabling terrorists like the codependent mother who gives her kid money to buy drugs. There will be no democracy in any real sense emerging from this toxic cult. We need to get real and outline the strategy for the total war before it is too late.
