IraqReader comment on item: The case for 'Iraqification' Submitted by max green (United States), Nov 19, 2003 at 09:14 I must take strong exception to today's article regarding Iraq.To say that the Iraqis " take what serves them from the occupation and fend off , through violence, what does not " grossly mischaracterizes the present insurgency which is not one of the people in protest against unpopular US policies but rather is one of a few thousand Bathiests and terrorists who want to reinstate totalitarian rule in Iraq. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
