Reader comment on item: The case for 'Iraqification'

I must take strong exception to today's article regarding Iraq.

To say that the Iraqis " take what serves them from the occupation and fend off , through violence, what does not " grossly mischaracterizes the present insurgency which is not one of the people in protest against unpopular US policies but rather is one of a few thousand Bathiests and terrorists who want to reinstate totalitarian rule in Iraq.
