A never ending story
Reader comment on item: Why was Abdullah Muhammad al-Ahdal Killed in 1989?

Submitted by Hans (Netherlands), Mar 5, 2008 at 07:51

Dear mr. Pipes,

In dutch languages newspapers there's a lot more about this story:

1. mr. Belliraj was arrested in morocco for being the ringleader of a planned massive al-Qaida attack, among them jewish targets in morocco.

2. mr. Belliraj also confessed the killing of the president of the belgian jewish organisation in november 1989;

3. he was interrogated in that period in relation to the murders, but released. Afterwards he got a Belgian passport.

4. he supposedly was an agent for the Belgian security service.

Hans
