First let me say how sorry I am that you went through such a horrible, violent ordeal. I understand completely the need to be heard and respected and so many faiths not only do not afford such opportunities they actually look down on women, particularly Islam, sad as it is, but true. It is deplorable that it could even be suggested that you marry the rapist - that is sick! You will be blessed through Krishna and his love. Hinduism extols love. I myself left Roman Catholicism for the same male-dominated Christian stupidity that treated us as if we are further from God and less than men. What nonsence. Please also read and listen to the beautiful words of our beloved Amma at http://www.amritapuri.org/. She is our divine Mother on earth and she loves you very much. She is always there to give you comfort, as am I if you ever need a friend. You will also find much comfort in the Bhagavad Gita, where Krishna discusses with Arjuna the divinity of us ALL, EQUALLY.
