Dear Mr. Pipes.
I'm a Mexican translator with knowledge of world current affairs, have communication with some correspondents in the US. Recently I received a mail from Mr. Chamish, who I felt was a man with not much of a stable mind, however, I wonder why Wikipedia, supposed to be an objective source, right away dismisses him as a conspiracy theorist and anti-semitic?
Based on my readings of the Bible (I'm not religious, I only try to make sense of a lot of things) I have the singular theory that both Arab and Israelis are semitic people, so how can a person be anti-semitic without being against both Israelis and Arabs simultaneously?
This leads me to my question: There is an author, Alan Hart, who authored Zionism: The Real Enemy of the Jews. He contends, and he seems to my mind to be right, that Zionism is much more modern than authentic Judaism, and the Judaic religion would forbid both the manner in which the Israeli state was created (leaving the inhabitants, i.e. Palestinians, without a homeland), and the ongoing war which currently seems favored by an Israeli right wing and the AIPAC. What would your position be on that? Wouldn't Mr. Hart and Mr. Levey be right on that point? How can a State have a "democracy" when it excludes people from other religions and other races?
Best regards, awaiting any response,
Marisol
