Objective Truth And SuppositionReader comment on item: Palestinians Who Prefer Israel Submitted by Seamus MacNemi (United States), Jan 12, 2008 at 02:42 What is objectively true for one is objectively true for all. That is the nature of objective truth. The objective truth of our world is that : There is ONE sky above, ONE earth beneath our feet, Humanity is ONE kind upon the face of the earth and there is ONE LAW which governs the afairs of all men A person doesn't have to be a Tzadik to understand that. All that is required is that a person open his or her eyes and look. This is the central truth of the Torah. This truth is acknowledged by both science and religion. If what we share is a common love for G-D and the wonder of his creation then there can be no conflict between us. It is only when a person seeks to dictate the form of expression that that love can take that there will be difficulties. Each individual has his or her own language and expression that is unique and appropriate for that individual. Any attempt to generalize or to limit the forms of expression can only be seen as an imposition of a meaningless formalism which denies the true spirit of the expression and stunts the growth of the soul within. Labels such as Christian, Muslim or even Jew have no meaning to G-D. What has meaning to G-D is the quality of the individual character of each human being. That is what Rabbi Yeshua taught us.
