Charlie don't surfReader comment on item: Surfboards to Reduce Arab-Israeli Tensions? Submitted by Luta Belcher (Israel), Dec 31, 2007 at 07:50 -Mr.Paskowitz's comments are fascinating. I just wonder what kept him from coming to Gaza when the other surfers , the former settlers, were there, and why he did not try to find them and give them a couple decks as well. Overcompensation? Guilt? Maybe he once saw the film Apocalype Now when Rober Devall's character states "Charlie don't Surf" and figured that if he came to the 'enemy' , the new settlers of Gaza, the Palestinians, and gave them their own surfboards, then everyone would just get along. Yeah shure bro. -Luta Belcher Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
