As a history lover, I have indeed been blessed with the ability to travel and live in multiple countries in my lifetime. In the late sixties I took myself off to London for a few years from my native Ireland, and was witness to some very odd sights, i.e. buildings that had been bombed to hell and back, massive craters in places that had not yet been cleared which still stood as a sort of testimony to the art of appeasement.
Later on, I lived in Germany and I clearly remember thinking "who won the war?" The country was spiffy and prosperous, buildings spruced up to a fare-thee-well, and the people looked well fed, smartly dressed and content. When I entered the ‘museum', Dachau, I saw first hand what turning a blind eye will give to a madman: licence to sally forth and do the undoable, think the unthinkable and finally bring to us a world war that apart from the loss of so many people of all stripes, a revulsion at the savage acts of this madman, so we declared loudly to what was left of a shattered world, "Never Again."
The experience of seeing row after row of beautifully cared for military graves in Germany, France and Holland is to this day indescribable in its bitterness for me, suffice to say it was horrific. So yes, I concur with your opinion Nick4693, and have been more or less singing the same song for years on the rise of Islam.
I'm not a racist, I'm a realist, and have seen first hand in Marseilles, France, where the Arab population is at 25%, and London, UK, at 17% just what this influx of Muslims into an area can do to a city. Slough, a small city in the UK is a prime example of this, and if you can access Panorama in the archives of the BBC website for July 23 titled: "Immigration: How we Lost Count," you will be shocked at what has happened in this city, and you can firmly point the finger of blame squarely in the face of Tony Blair and his witless labourites for this desecration of their heritage.
Same thing in France, and again, all done under the leadership of a demented socialist system that is well past its sell-by-date. In the West, most working families have 1-2 children, but for Muslims in the West, there is a race on to produce huge amounts of children they can neither afford to house or educate, so the demands to pay the cost falls on those who work for a living, the same people who can afford only 1-2 kids. The real shock was this was a BBC production!
This Multi-Cult-Ism has been forced upon us by the very leaders we elected, but it would appear now thy had a hidden agenda all along and the second you query why illegal immigrants are drifting through borders worldwide with little security to stop them, or why immigration is so horrendously high from Muslim countries, you are immediately branded a racist.
Call me what you will, but facts are sticky things and you cannot simply wish them away.
As for your reference to Carter: This malevolent Anti-Semite should be dragged through the courts for his disgusting hatred toward a people, who bore the brunt of Hitler's madness, yet here comes Carter knocking them at every turn. I think his rage is aimed at them because they built a country from the ground up with virtually nothing but hard work and an enduring spirit, while their feckless cousins, the Arabs, sat on their arse and twiddled their thumbs as they wailed and begged for the world to feed and clothe them, and save them from these Israeli's. God forbid they should emulate those Jews, losing face and all that fairy tale rubbish, no, much easier to wail and beg. And for this Israel received the hatred of Carter?
Please, give it a rest, and bypass this creepy old man any place you find him because he is a disgrace to his country. Thank you for such a great offering, Nick, as it is good to know there are others who believe this ‘religion of peace' is suicide for the West, and the Islamicisation of the West must be brought to heel.
