What does change of heart mean?

Reader comment on item: Mr. Palestine?
in response to reader comment: What leads to a "change of heart"?

Submitted by Frank K. Hoover (United States), Dec 14, 2007 at 20:12

Thank you, jennifer solis, for seeking more info on my use of the notion, "change of heart" to label whatever change is needed for the ..."all the nations and terrorists in the Mid-East ....to stop teaching and preaching the destruction of Isreal, the Jews and the rest of th non-muslim world."..I haven't a clue what to name the needed change. But until the change comes what ever we do is useless "spinning our wheels". .

Both Japan and Hitler had such a change when the unconttionally surrended after we Allies clobered them and their people into submission. But they were entities identifiable and able to be clobered.

Terrorists do not present a cloberable target, nor do those who support them. I don't think they or their supporters will be stopped until the nations of the Mid-East stop teaching their chilcdren to kill non-muslims. That is our predicament. Do you or anyone else knnow what we should do to end this predicament. Do you know what to do? I surely don't

Hope this is helpful!
