Historical recurrence of anti-semitism
Reader comment on item: Handbook on Religious Liberty around the World

Submitted by Jim Escher (United States), Dec 14, 2007 at 00:59

It appears that throughout history there is a rise and fall in hatred and persecution of Jews. This particular form of the hatred is now coming from Muslims and not Christians. The Muslims even seem to be outdoing the Nazis or Neo-Nazis but that is not for want of trying of a number of former German Nazis who advised nations such as Paraguay and Egypt to name but two, on their treatment of "their" Jews.

Doubtless, throughout the world and even in the USA Jews are coming in for some hard times as rightist fascists join leftist fascists in their hatred of the ignoble Jew in their midst. Maybe it is getting close to the time that Jews are going to have to arm themselves with firearms for protection against these latter day monsters.
