I've been in the same world you have, Orange, but react to the same scenes differently..

Thanks for your thoughtul comments, Orange.

For the same 30 years you and I have been here looking at the same wheel-spinning actions in the various "Peace Process " gyrations. Until all the nations and terrorists in the Mid East have the change in heart needed for them to stop teaching and preaching the destruction of Israel, the Jews and the rest of the non-muslim world there will be no peace . But I know of nothing better than to make "good faith efforts" as long as they do not weaken our position, until the change in hearts occur. I takes a certain amount of optimism to contine these hopeful "wheel-spinning" maneuvers . We need not kid ourselves about getting quick results. But we must not lose hope.

The Saudis and the Iranian mullas backing Hesbolah and Hamas are key players but have not figured out how to tackle them yet. At least some were persuaded to come to Annapolis. Meanwhile the Palestians and the Jews get all the wheel-spinning attention. Yes, I am very optimistic as needed to keep hoping but it is a very guarded optimism. Let's hope and pray that this Annapolis Initiative accelerates some heart-changing in the crucial places. But it may take 25 years or more.

We see the same picture but have different emotions. Let's hang in there together until the required changes occur.
