Modern version of Islam

Sorry,

Wishful thinking......................Islam has never ever been anything but aggressive and militant.

After recently seeing the DVD "Farewell Israel" which portrays a fairly good history of Islam through the ages ,never tolerant of other religions including their own differences between Sunni and Shiite I see no future modernization in sight.
