There is no doubt that we are engaged in a war (not of our making) with Islam. I think Ms Delcambre is right on. I would suggest that not all folks in the US should speak out too soon. We are obviously engaged with Islam on several fronts. We don't need to antagonize the remaining billion or so Moslems needlessly. I generally hold my thoughts unless first engaged by someone. Best not to perturb this snake, let it lay, until we are prepared to fully engage it. We depend on scholars, historians, and journalists to report the status. Today, most seem to advocate accommodation. I think they will get smarter.

I know at some point the West will find it necessary to oppose Islam vigorously. I see the stirring of this in Europe and China already. Maybe I am too optimistic, but I think we can get thru another 10 years before the necessity for physical engagement. Until them we will depend on accurate truthful analysis to guide us and prepare the forces of freedom. I don't think there will be a compromise. Islam has only gone into remission when forced.
