Daniel Pipes advocates victory as a prerequisite to peace with the Palestinians. But that is going about it the wrong way. The Palestinians are no more a real entity deserving of national independence than Vermontians, of Chihhuauans. They are Arabs, and their National home is not in Israel.

Victory over the Palestinians, meaning their giving up and occupying land in Israel will achieve nothing, beyond postponing a 1948 like confrontation, with population shift.
