Dr. Pipes,
Excellent. It is rare that someone will objectively take the time to point out facts. It seems that those who oppose your viewpoint seem to ignore (or forget) the differences between truth (which is self perceived and relative) and facts.
It also appears that those who would argue the point with you tend to believe their truth as absolute (and as such ignore the facts that face them) and in conjunction with that tactical debating approach, apply some self validated absolution in the process.
These are delicate issues well worth the time to debate. But they should debate the issues, not the emotion. It's difficult at best to keep an unemotional debate going when those who oppose you with such fevor in an attempt to ignore the facts. And yet, you manage to keep the dialogue going so well!
