Swimming in the Sea of Subjectivity
Reader comment on item: Conservative pundit argues for 'victory' over Palestinians

Submitted by jennifer solis (United States), Nov 6, 2007 at 15:41

I greatly respect and admire Daniel Pipes for the courage and intrepid spirit he shows in speaking at these various campuses. No one could accuse him of "preaching to the choir". Who else presents these students, face-to-face, with such an objective, informed and accurate view of Islam and the political ideologies involved? Certainly not the professors.

As evidenced on this website, dissenting view and debate is generously allowed, therefore encouraged.

A true gentleman, Daniel Pipes has not and does not make a name for himself by shouting down dissent on a radio show, during talk shows, his lectures, TV interviews, or his websites.

True sincerity is not based on nor buoyed by emotion. The race is not to the swift. Thoughtful, objective examination of the facts and ergo accuracy warms the heart of those who in fact truly desire solution.

Someone who exemplifies this accuracy is Daniel Pipes. I hope he has an idea of how much he is appreciated, and how many are cheering him on. It means so much to have availiable the objectivity of such a bright mind, especially in a sea of subjectivity.

For all you do, thank you, Daniel Pipes!!
