That piece from the Weekly Standard had me in stitches. I went to several of those 70's weddings.

Only rather than a flute solo of "Color my World" it was usually "It's only just begun" by the Carpenters.

It is amazing how hokey we were back then- and Gibran's Prophet was the ultimate in hokiness.
