Dear Barbara,

I agree with almost everything you've said, including ending the policy of bestowing citizenship upon those born here of illegal aliens. The one issue where I would disagree would be your advice to end all taxpayer paid benefits to all illegal aliens in all cases. If a sick or injured child is brought to a hospital I don't mind if some of my tax dollars pays for their medical attention. They are not guilty of their parents' sins and they are not here willingly breaking the law. When we get to the point where we can look a sick child in the eyes and refuse them necessary medical care then we have become a soulless society not worth preserving. -DR
