To critique a mythology, we must examine the affect exposure to the mythology has on the human person. It matters not at all what we 'believe', only the results. The dogma of the mythology grants access to paradise and the deity thru 'martyrdom', ie the loss of human life in the cause of the deity. No other access is granted. Submission, piety, good works will not do it. While these acts are expected and required of the deity, 'communion' ,in paradise, with the deity comes only via the "Sword" . This dogma is counter to preservation of the "Self". Hence the development of inflexable and maladaptive patterns of behavior or what we refer to as "Muslim Personality Disorder". This condition may lead to homicidal/suicidal ideation, mendacity, hostility toward those not initiated, hatred toward individuals and groups, grandious thoughts of world conquest, nillism, paranoia, violence and deception. Depending on the degree of internalization, and the mandate of the dogma to severly punish those who reject the mythology, it is very difficult to offer a therapy regime. .
