Love of 'islam'

How does one "Love" a mythology which has as a core belief that access to the deity and 'paradise' is achieved by ' martyrdom' meaning to kill and/or be killed th the service to a non personal, remote and unpredicable deity? The mythology, taken to its core values, produces a pathology which leads to suicidal/homicidal ideation, anxiety, hostility,and violence toward those not involved with the mythology.
