Sometimes even scholars have so much common sense that they can articulate what the rest of cannot and that is what Dr. Daniel Pipes does. George Bush amd Rudi Giuliani are are not the same conservative or neo-conservative. They are different. They are, as our brilliant host suggests, different kinds of patriots and have a different mechanism for winning this war against Islamofascism. And win we must.
I am a registered Democrat. I am also a devotee and a believer in the ultimate ability of sane brains and gifted minds with the physical courage to speak the truth and a first rate militay will win the peace. To do that we have got to win the war!!!!!!!!! As a registered Democrat and liberal, I voted for George Bush in 2003 and never voted for Giuliani only when he ran the last time. But, I want us to stay alive and Rudi will keep us alive. There are no civil rights, no human rights and rights to privacy for the dead.
Dr. Pipes is right as usual. The choice we make in this upcoming election is not about universal health care, a women as president, abortion or creationism vs. evolution. It is about life and death. Rudi Giuliani will keep us alive and give us the opportunity and the means and ability to win the war. We need to win the war because the next time they come to kill us, there won't enough of us left to win anything.
