Mr. Pipes,

I appreciate you writing this rebuttal to TIME and NEWSWEEK but these people really have no interest in getting the facts straight on this issue or really anything on Republicans or Iraq. There is one criterion for something being "fit for print" at these two rags: undermining either this president, this war , or this country. If possible all three.

It sounds unbelievable and outrageous but I am a former journalist. I know these people, I've talked to them both on and off the record countless times and they are liberal activists. They are NOT journalists by any stretch of the imagination. They are invested in this country being a certain way and doing certain things and none of those are things that you would consider pro-family, pro military, pro America or any of that.

It was very very hard to accept this as being completely true until I spent literally years working with and around this people. Now that I know them, I despise them as much as one can imagine, not because of their beliefs, but their dishonesty about those beliefs.
