Until now, I was pleased with most of Daniel Pipes articles and positions on our country"s progress in a war that seems un-winnable. (How will we know when we have won?)
But with this article I feel like the rug has been pulled out from under me. How Mr. Pipes can find anything commendable about Mr. Bush's Presidency while running (ruining) our country is beyond me. And so I shall read Pipes' opinions with a very jaundiced eye.

I have plenty of criticisms of the president, as I have indicated in this article, and supported other candidates for the Republican nomination in 2000. But I can only have to imagine Gore or Kerry in the White House to be glad Bush won.
