Whether or not it is because I am an aging man (I am 73) is moot. The sad fact remains is that, lately I have begun to be bored with these endless merry-go-round debates.

However, upon further reflection, I find that we must! As the philosopher Emil Fackenheim (late of Toronto U and more recently residing in Israel) once famously said in a television interview not unlike your's, that "A Jew is Someone Who Just Keeps Going".

Bravo!
