Yes, it's true. We are worse than you Americans about mosques because Italy is a small and narrow country , full of ancient buildings, marvellous cathedrals, statues, fountains, monuments, and islam is an iconoclastic religion. While we are the land of pictures and paintings, the land of Beauty. How to kick off? I really don't know. We have to struggle and make our cultural battle to prevent the worst.

In the case we are not successful we will escape. In any case the biggest mosque is not in front of St. Peter Cathedral in Rome (fortunately) but next to the MInistry of Foreign Affairs in Rome. That's enough.
