The "Curse" Of The Law
Reader comment on item: The Bible's Role in American Support for Israel
in response to reader comment: The New is in the Old Concealed, the Old is in the New Revealed

G-Ds law is absolute in this world. Should any of you doubt it let him try to defy it. There are inevitable consequences for every thought and act and while "Grace" may suffice for things which are not intended such as unavoidable accidents due to faulty judgement or ignorance, there is no grace for deliberate malfeasance, abdication or neglect. If you know what is the right thing to do and deliberately do not do it or if you seek to prevent others from acting on behalf of the right then the full weight of the LAW of consequence will fall fully upon your head. Your only choice will be to repent of your false ways and make amends to all those you have wronged.

G-Ds blessings often come in the form of painful and difficult lessons. The most difficult lessons are often the ones best learned. A wise man does not often repeat the same mistake either in judging or in acting. It is only the fool who does not learn from experience. You only have to burn yourself once to learn that fire is dangerous and must be handled carefully. Much the same can be said of Scripture.

The First Commandment forbids the worshiping of graven images. What is the written word if it is not a graven image? The G-D of Israel is beyond the book and above it. If you do not learn that then you can never truly 'KNOW" G-D. The G-D of Israel trancends the book and does not depend upon it for his revelation to men in the world. Jesus certainly knew this and that is what he taught his followers. G-D cannot be found in the book but only in the experience of living. The religion of Jesus is a religion of deeds and not of doctrine. The living word is the deed done and not some vapid profession of faith that is not supported by actions. If you would live in the light you must become the light and cast no shaddow upon the earth or upon your fellow man. So much for the priests of Satan who would have us kissing their seals and rings and bowing before their alters to falsehood.

Humility should never be aquainted with cowardess. The G-D of Israel does not want to see men groveling in the dust like frightened dogs, nor does he want mindless sheep who follow blindly along herded like lemmings to their doom. The G-D of Israel demands that we stand in our places as men for the right. For that reason and that reason alone did HE give us HIS LAW that we should live by it and prosper in life.
