How Can This Behavior Be Tolerated?!Reader comment on item: Extremists on Campus Submitted by Gene Biegel (United States), Jun 28, 2002 at 01:49 It's hard to believe that at this time in the history of our nation, and after what people have gone through during the 20th century on this planet, these happenings on our campuses are tolerated by the administrators, alumni groups and other financial supporters. There is a difference between freedom of speech and preaching (and teaching) people to engage in criminal conduct. They are coming pretty close to the latter of the two. We, who served in the military of our nation, (I served during the Korean Conflict), did not serve to defend the rights of criminals.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
