Not only Turkey, that is exactly what Muslims did to Malaysia, it use to be Buddhist country, muslims went there as traders, they gained some small settlements in the begining, then breed like rats, once they out number the indigenous population then they demand or take it over. There is a book by V.S.Naipall called "Beyond Belief" It tell you all about take over of Malaysia , Indonasia by Muslims , Muslims are also demanding souhern part of Thailand, not forgetting Cyprus, particioned by Turks,Kashmir again Muslims claim to it ,because of majority of Muslims, as they have already driven out and killed Hindus and Sikhs of Kashmir.I am afraid this may one day happen here too in UK. another book called "The decline of eastern christianity under islam" by Bat Ye'or.
