Disappearing Christians
Reader comment on item: Disappearing Christians in the Middle East
in response to reader comment: Deja vue all over again

The Europeans are so proud that they have created secular societies in most of their countries. Today, you walk into the churches and cathedrals and nobody is there. They are nothing but museums and tourist attractions that are part of their ancient history. However, with the influx of Muslims, it is anticipated that in 2 generations, Europe will become majority Muslim. When that happens, Europe will not be secular, nor will they it free. And those old churches? They will either be converted into mosques a la Istanbul, or they will be torn down, just like the Nazis in Nuremberg demolished the Synagogue in the 1930s because "it conrasted with the architecture of the city".

Tolerance and respect for others has to be a two way street.
