Muslim moderatesReader comment on item: How Central Is Muslim Anti-Semitism? Submitted by J. Seidenberg (United States), Jun 26, 2002 at 09:53 Arab representatives speak of their moderates, a vast number. It would be nice to see some of their thoughts and comments in American newspapers--even moreso in their own newspapers. It is quite disturbing that in a country like the United States, with its large Muslim population, we seldom if ever read or hear comments from Arabs criticizing Arab actions in the Middle East and in countries where Jews and Jewish places are physically attacked, or conceding that the Israelis have done something worthy of appreciation. It naturally makes one wonder how much the Arabs of the United States have made themselves part of the American community and accepted the right of of people in this country to have divergent opinions. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
