Another Reason for Christian Zionism

The deciding impetus for the Christian Zionism that I hold can be found not in some guilt or in some covert anti-Semitism but in a belief in the God of Israel who remains faithful to his word. Genesis l2 verse 3---said to Abraham, the father of the Jews. "I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him who curseth thee" Genesis l3 verse 15--Again to Abraham, " For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it and to thy seed for ever". Then, in Genesis l7 verse l9, the promise of the land is restricted to the descendants of Isaac, those whome we know today as Jews. Other blessings are promised to the Arabs, descendants of Ishmael. Because I---and many others like me---believe the God of Israel and want nothing more than his fullest blessings, we support and will continue to support Israel. JGH
