Prior to the holocaust, the calls for a Jewish national homeland was just a "nicer" way of making Europe Juden-rein. Unfortunately, most Jews were not proactive in seeking a return to Israel until after the holocaust. Jews were never very active for their rights in the diaspora. Equivocating and rationalizing, they didn't want to make waves or draw too much attenton to themselves in a sanctimonious Europe which already accused them of deicide. As if that in itself was not getting enough attention, the Jews could not see the handwriting on the wall.
The Jews need to remember that they were sanctified by G0d in accepting HlS commandments, and don't need the the justificaton of Christians who want to love them to death in the hope of a return of the Messiah. Nor do the Jews need the platitudes of modern day liberals who like to sympathize with Jews about the holocaust on one hand, and on the other admonish them with the new big lie, the so called occupation.
Jews, instead of negotiating over the so-called roadmap which is nothing more but rewarding Islamists for terrorism, need to annex everything between the Jordan and Nile Rivers, and send the so-called Palestinians back to the countries who deliberately began this refugee problem during The 1948 War for Independence. Only then, by proactively living up to G0d's command, will the Jews once and for all earn respect and peace.
