DeWitt Talmage, the celebrated preacher

Reader comment on item: [Christian Zionism:] Israel's Best Weapon?

Submitted by P. Lubin (United States), Jul 15, 2003 at 15:42

Addendum to this piece: a recent article by Hugh Fitzgerald, entitled Annals of Christian Zionism: De Witt Talmage, which appeared in the journal OUTPOST for March 2003, and is on line, provides some interesting further information about Christian Zionism among Protestant divines in the 19th century, as well as the historical context for the development of such a movement.
